Coach Lisa Espy Ferguson is a Florida native, the wife of a Marine, and the mother of three children. Her teenagers began swimming before their first birthday and continue to swim competitively year round. Her five-month-old will learn survival and swimming skills in 2012!
Coach Lisa is passionate about drowning prevention and the healthy, lifelong sport of swimming. She believes continual aquatic education is vital not only for her students, but for herself as well. She has spent the past 12 years expanding her experience, education and certifications as an aquatic educator. This, coupled with her love of children, has allowed her to develop a student-directed, multifaceted approach to aquatic skill acquisition at every age and skill level.
The cycle of guiding, supporting, encouraging, and celebrating each aquatic milestone achieved by her students during the learning process results in a unique, customized lesson experience for each child.
