Okinawa – Priscilla Lawrence

Coach Priscilla, a mother of three, was born in Aachen, Germany. Her father served in the United States Army and they eventually ended up In Colorado Springs, Colorado. Growing up in Colorado Springs, she gained a passion for all outdoor activities. Priscilla stayed active snowboarding, hiking, and sightseeing throughout Colorado. It was here she met her husband who now serves in the United States Air Force.

 

Priscilla has a passion for education and is currently enrolled in a teaching program that majors in Psychology. Her desire to teach translates directly to her passion to coach children in the pool. She enrolled all three of her children through the Swim Life program after researching drowning prevention and swimming programs. She understands, directly, the importance of these possible life saving skills. When offered the opportunity to train as an instructor, she didn’t hesitate. Priscilla engaged in an intense 120 hour in water training and rigorous academic study in March of 2016.

 

Teaching is Coach Priscilla’s passion and her love for both that and children, allow her to provide a unique tailored experience for each of her students.
