Alison grew up in eastern Pennsylvania, where her family spent summers swimming in their pool and at the beach. Her parents enrolled her in swimming lessons for several years. She developed a greater enthusiasm for water safety after being caught in an ocean rip current while swimming with her father.

After graduating with degrees in business administration and nursing, Alison worked as a registered nurse in cardiac, critical care, and post-op units. One of her most memorable patients was a pediatric drowning victim who survived.

Alison is married and has 2 children. The Air Force brought the family to Wichita Falls, where they decided to stay for retirement. Swim Life was recommended when they were building a pool. After discussing safety options with the builder, they knew Swim Life would be the best for peace of mind. Alison was so impressed with Swim Life’s program, she wanted to join the Swim Life team to give other parents and children the same opportunity.
