Lauren Holcomb
Edgewood, KY

Several years ago Lauren had a family friend lose their 3 year old little boy to an accidental drowning. She was determined to not let that happen to her children, and after researching she stumbled upon the Judah Brown Project. There she learned about the importance of survival swim lessons, and the dangers of puddle jumpers & flotation devices in the pool. She’s been an advocate on her personal social media, helping to spread awareness.

When her son participated in Swim Life lessons, she started practicing with him. She felt in her heart that teaching these life saving skills is what she needed & wanted to do as a career.

Lauren spent her entire childhood around pools, as her father’s family’s company built and repaired commercial swimming pools. She has always been aware of some type of water safety. She participated in a swim team before high school & her daughter was an avid swimmer for some time.

Lauren believes the joy & gratification that comes with teaching young children to save themselves is priceless. The demand for high quality lessons is so high, and she feels every child deserves a chance at survival in the event of an accident.
