Natalee has been married to her husband Josh since 2013. She is the mother of two children; one boy and one girl. Their family has moved seven times in the last nine years, including three years in Okinawa, Japan as a US Marine family. 

Natalee loves to read, paint, and sew; being outdoors and building/creating things with her hands is what she loves to do with her free time. Children are her passion. And her college education prepared her for the business side of managing her own business. 

Her son started Swim Life swim lessons while in Okinawa at 8 months old and at that point Natalee realized just how important these lessons are. He continued to advance in his lessons and started snorkeling at only 20 months. When they moved, and had their next baby, Natalee was devastated to find there were no survival swim lessons in their area! They ended up moving again and were so excited that the Swim Life instructor they had in Japan was now in California too. She taught their then 5-year-old daughter and 8-year-old son (again). Their daughter could finally swim after months of community group swim lessons with no results; it only took 4 weeks for her to be confident and competent in the water with Swim Life! And their son spent that time mastering new swim strokes he had never done before. 

Now that they've moved again, and to the state with the highest incidence of childhood drowning in the country, Natalee decided to finally pursue becoming an instructor, which had peaked her interest all that time ago when they were in Okinawa.
